Lincoln HS Boys Soccer First home game of all time at LHS Field

Last Friday night, the Yonkers Force lost their first game against what might be the best high school team in New York. State of New Rochelle HS. The end result was 44-7. Elijah Cordero scored the Force's only touchdown on a 5-yard run. After the game, force trainer Dan DeMatteo said, "New Rochelle was a very tough sports team. It's also difficult to play a game after a 500-day layoff!" On April 1, the Force visited North Rockland HS. Kick-off is 6:30 p.m.

The Lincoln boy's first home game at LHS FIELD.

The Lancers hosted YMA on Tuesday and played a very strong and highly competitive game. YMA took 1st place with a penalty … soon after the Lancers' offensive strategy scored a goal. Newbie Ellison Garcia had the assistance of Alexis Cruz who tied the game. Alexis Cruz scored again to give the Lancers a 2-1 lead. YMA scored 3 minutes before the end of regular time. The goal linked the game in regulation and remained so in double overtime.

We also got the names of some of the members of the YMA Girls Soccer team from Coach
Marc Aliberti, in its 11th season.

The captains are Elizabeth Bowles Sr., Angela Shllaku Jr., Emma Reynolds Jr., Caoimhe Rodgers Jr., Emma Rose Gleason Jr.
This year's YMA team is hard to see with 9 11th grade students and only 1 senior player: Elizabeth Bowles, Striker, Sr., All-Section Honorable Mention and All-League Fall 2019. Angela Shllaku, Striker, Sr. , All League Fall 2019 Shannon Ortiz, midfield
Strengths – experience, goal scorers, defense, organization. We have to work on possession, communication, and constant play for 80 minutes.
