Temporary road closures were in effect in New York as a funeral procession for rappers DMX traveled from Yonkers to Brooklyn on Saturday, April 24th.
DMXBorn Earl Simmons died on April 9 at the age of 50 after a heart attack.
Fans paid tribute to the rapper by riding bicycles and cars in a procession to the Barclays Center, where a private service for family and friends was scheduled for 4 p.m. The New York Police Department announced that the road closures will be effective from 12 noon.
